Like virtually all residents of Palm Springs, Steve is originally from Canada. Growing up in a snow swept suburb east of Toronto, Steve left home at 17 when his band, Sum 41, signed a major record deal and his life as a professional drummer took off.
With the band, Steve travelled around the world countless times, performing in front of thousands, selling millions of records and even getting nominated for a grammy. Steve started visiting Palm Springs in 2006 and fell in love with the San Jacinto mountain range and the desert’s famous mid-century modern architecture.
In 2008, with the help of Paul Kaplan, Steve and his wife purchased a 1959 Meiselman in Racquet Club. The house had suffered some insensitive additions over the years and they went about restoring it to its previously, glamorous self.
After a completing a comprehensive renovation, Steve sold the home (again, with Paul) in 2015 and enjoyed the experience so much, he decided to quit life on the road and pursue real estate as a career.
With his extensive knowledge of Palm Springs and it’s unique neighborhoods, Steve is ready to help you with all of your desert real estate needs.
